Production

Project logistics

You receive profiles packed and ready for installation, in phases where needed: the right profiles, in the right order, at the right time. On request, we also manage your inventory. This allows your production team to keep working and prevents failure costs.

What are your length tolerances?

We produce with very tight length tolerances whenever the application calls for it. In products where multiple profiles need to connect precisely, this prevents rework and keeps your assembly or production process on schedule.

From what volume does custom work become cost-effective?

Custom work isn't reserved for large series. Because we have our sister company KS Manufacturing Technology make the tooling, we can also produce cost-effectively at smaller volumes. What the threshold is depends on the complexity of the profile. We're happy to discuss that based on your specific request.

How long does it take to produce a custom profile?

Thanks to our own in-house tooling workshop, we can start production quickly for most custom profiles once the final specification is confirmed. You'll receive a specific lead time with your inquiry, and for urgent project requests, we're happy to explore what's feasible.

Can you supply profiles that comply with the standards that apply in my industry?

Which standards and certifications are relevant varies greatly depending on the application and industry. At KS Profile, we are certified under a range of standards for quality and production processes. We're happy to discuss this per project and let you know what documentation we can provide.

Sustainable production starts with the right choices

At KS Profile, sustainability starts with the profile itself. By engineering profiles efficiently, less steel is often needed without compromising on strength, span, or functionality. That reduces material use and results in a lighter end product.

Cold-forming is also a more energy-efficient process than hot-rolling. These factors directly contribute to the CO₂ performance of your profile choice. For an extra-low CO₂ footprint, you can have your profiles produced in Sustainable Steel.

We can provide an EPD (Environmental Product Declaration) for every profile. If you're bidding on tenders with ESG or CO₂ requirements, this can make all the difference: without verifiable environmental data, projects are increasingly rejected by governments and large corporates.

KS Profile is certified under the CO₂ Performance Ladder and works systematically to reduce its own CO₂ emissions and make its operations more sustainable.
