Profile engineering and production are under one roof, with short lines of communication and no noise between design and execution. In addition, we bring together knowledge of corrosion-resistant steel grades, lightweight profiles and the latest sustainability requirements. As part of KS Industries, we supply customer-specific profiles for project-based building systems, so that you are fully taken care of.

Inquiry & R&D

You share your profile drawings, requirements and schedule. Our R&D engineers think along directly on the profile and the production method: profile geometry, coating per climate zone, steel grade and phasing per installation area. We optimize your design wherever possible. Together, we achieve the best result.

Order confirmation

You receive a quotation for the project-specific profiles. Agreements on deadlines, milestones, quality and terms are recorded in an order confirmation: a shared commitment to make your solar project a success.

Engineering & work preparation

You develop your design into a final design. We align profile geometry, material selection and coating with your mounting concept, whether that is a fixed-tilt, a tracking system or a floating platform. We then engineer and manufacture the tooling where needed and prepare your project.

Production

Solar projects require large quantities with consistent quality across all profiles. We carry out careful quality checks during and after production.

Project logistics

You receive the profiles packed and ready for installation, anywhere in the world and in phases per field or stage: the right profiles, in the right order, at the right time. This allows your installation teams to keep working and prevents failure costs on site.

KS Profile produces that variation without compromising on lead time or tolerance. Processes such as punching and perforating are built directly into the production line. This means every profile leaves the line ready for smooth, immediate installation.

Can you supply profiles for both ground-mounted and floating solar installations?

Yes. We have experience with profiles for ground-mounted fields, rooftop mounting systems, and floating solar installations. We tailor the profile geometry, coating, and steel grade to the specific mounting concept and environmental requirements.

What coatings are available for solar profiles?

Depending on the application, we supply profiles with hot-dip galvanizing, zinc-magnesium coating, powder coating, or electrolytic galvanizing. We advise based on the location, climate, and desired service life of the installation.

Can you supply large volumes within a tight project schedule?

Yes. We produce on a project basis and align production and delivery with your installation plan. For large volumes, we schedule phased deliveries so your installation team never has to stop.

What are your length tolerances?

We produce with very tight length tolerances whenever the application calls for it. For solar structures where large numbers of profiles need to connect precisely, this prevents rework on site and keeps your installation schedule on track.

Sustainable building starts with the right choices

At KS Profile, sustainability starts with the profile itself. By engineering profiles efficiently, less steel is often needed without compromising on strength, span, or functionality. That reduces material use and results in a lighter end product.

Cold-forming is also a more energy-efficient process than hot-rolling. These factors directly contribute to the CO₂ performance of your profile choice. For an extra-low CO₂ footprint, you can have your profiles produced in Sustainable Steel.

We can provide an EPD (Environmental Product Declaration) for every profile. If you're bidding on tenders with ESG or CO₂ requirements, this can make all the difference: without verifiable environmental data, projects are increasingly rejected by governments and large corporates.
